“Daily Struggle” – Flickr Feature
Our flickr feature for this week is Alberto Dati, an Italian photographer with a diverse and impressive portfolio of work.
Alberto Dati was born in Taranto, Southern Italy in 1975. As a musician, a teacher, and avid traveller, he has built a love from photography and enjoys working with both vintage film and digital cameras. Dati is a free-lance photographer and reporter for Plein Air, an italian tourism monthly magazine (www.pleinair.it).
His style ranges from portraiture to landscapes, and also tends to incorporate more abstract subjects. The photos presented in this article are for a project entitled “alone“. Although the photos may seem quite different in their approach, they each evoke the same feelings and artistic qualities that are present in all of Alberto’s work. As described by Dati, the images are-
“Lonely presences in a space, one life standing in the middle of objects, lines, buildings. One life in the middle of nothing.”

We love the inspirational and unique approach in this series, and we can’t wait to see what comes next as Dati explores new ideas and projects that he is working on.
